Pared down for the stage to three, but still four in spirit, and recording studio, Archaic Spadium bring their self-titled release to WHFR to crank the hard rock levels back up where they belong. This is melodic. This is grunge. This is in your face, take no prisoners, Detroit rock at its best! Where? Motor Live Drive @ 5, of course.

Poor Player is a five piece band that takes to the stage with barrel house rambles, neo Dustbowl yodels, Tecumseh strums, and a hopped up grab bag of American riddles and laments. Saluting the guy flying a sign beside the highway exit, zigzagging through the post-industrial prairie, Poor Player is all about finding the roots beneath the rubble, the green beneath the ruin, the country blues in the pothole concrete, and the beauty in the city gone to seed. This is folk rock, Americana, alt-country at its finest. This is Motor Live Drive @ 5.

The band Terminus came it to Motor. They WANTED to play live, but mother nature got in the way. One of the members plows and salts the roads so You can drive safely while listening to Motor Live. So the rest of the band came on in and sat down with Scott Boatright to talk about their music, and what the future holds for a heavy metal band in the modern era. If you love banging your head, or just local music in general, tune in to the November 20th edition of Motor Live Drive @5. We dedicate this podcast to all the road crews that keep the rest of us motoring.
