Michigan MUFON’s State Director Bill Konkolesky joins host David Twichell to discuss, among other things, the searchable Project Blue Book files that briefly appeared on The Black Vault website but was forced to be taken down – and why. Bill has been a contactee since childhood and has written a book on his early experiences, Experiencer: Raised in Two Worlds. He was featured on ScyFy Channel's “Abduction Diaries,” as well as being interviewed on many radio and TV shows.

Delivered to a small audience on Wednesday, 2-15-15, Dearborn Mayor Jack O'Reilly outlined the recent successes and the future challenges to the city. WHFR and DJ Alex are happy to have Metro Detroit’s Ryan Allen in the studio to promote his 2nd Solo record HEART STRING SOUL with an interview and acoustic set Wednesday afternoon. HEART STRING SOUL, released under the name Ryan Allen and His Extra Arms, was recorded with Allen’s dad in his childhood home and will be released on Allen’s label Two Brains Recording Co. on March 25. In conjunction with Black History Month, the Blues With A Feeling show will feature special guest Dr. Willie W. Payne, historian and author, who will talk about his multi-media lecture, The Underground Railroad Michigan Connection. Payne uses music, song and photos of local Underground Railroad stops to narrate stories and describe places used to harbor runaways. He will discuss how slave work songs and spirituals were used to communicate escape plans and how these songs also influenced blues, jazz and other music.
