WHFR and DJ Alex are happy to have Metro Detroit’s Ryan Allen in the studio to promote his 2nd Solo record HEART STRING SOUL with an interview and acoustic set Wednesday afternoon. HEART STRING SOUL, released under the name Ryan Allen and His Extra Arms, was recorded with Allen’s dad in his childhood home and will be released on Allen’s label Two Brains Recording Co. on March 25. In promotion of the album: there will be a CD release party March 28 at the Berkeley Front with Javelins and Love Axe and then performing as part of the International Pop Overthrow Festival at PJs Lager House on April 2.
