Please join Tom Wilson for Very Special Music from Sun Ra and His Arkestra to Celebrate the Iconic Jazz Composer and His Original Arkestra Members: 90 year old Marshall Allen (alto sax) and Danny Ray Thompson (baritone sax, flute), in advance of when they Ascend onto the stage at Trinosophes in Detroit, tomorrow, Feb. 7th, as part of the "Over the Pavement" 3-day Art Music Fest. According to whfr.fm's own Pat Frisco who saw Marshall Allen last September, "He was leading a parade while playing!"
