Blues man Robert Penn on The Motor Live Drive @ 5, Thursday Sept. 8 at 5:00 pm

This week on the Motor Live Drive @ 5 we have Robert Penn a Motor City master of blues, jazz and soul. With his band he's opened for Bobby "Blue" Bland, Little Milton, Johnnie Taylor, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Coco Taylor, Buddy Guy,  Albert Collins and a host of others.  As a guitarist, arranger and conductor he's worked  with such acts as  The Contours, David Ruffin, The Velvelettes and The Temptations Revue featuring Dennis Edwards. Above and beyond the gigs, he loves being a guitar teacher and an inspiration to all of his students.  He  is currently celebrating the release of his third CD "Blues N' My Soul” on his own Kimisha Records.
